About a wedding

If you are considering having your wedding in St Martin’s then first of all congratulations on your engagement. We would love to help.

As a Church of England church we have to work with the regulations about whose weddings are allowed to be held in St Martin’s. Click here to find out if St Martin’s is the right church for you.

If you would like to know more then please see the Church of England’s weddings website at https://www.yourchurchwedding.org which answers lots of the questions that frequently come up and is a great resource for planning your church wedding. Details about wedding fees can be found there too.

St Martin’s is a beautiful church and a lovely place to get married. Even better, as a church it is place where you can get married in front of God.

At a squeeze you could get 130 guests into the church. There are a church bells and organ if required, and you can organise your own flowers to decorate the church or the church flower arrangers can help.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
        and his courts with praise;
       give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
      his faithfulness continues through all generations.

                                                   Psalm 100.4-5
